JOB SUMMARY:
He/She is responsible for developing and maintaining a range of reports to support the business processes in the Asia Pacific region of Emerson Network Power. These reports will be developed using a range of tools such as Noetix, Crystal Reports and Oracle Discoverer.
He/She will also be responsible for maintaining an OLAP data warehouse and the creation/maintenance of reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Conduct a detailed requirement analysis in the area of reporting and support the Oracle Regional Track Leads in any reports standardization initiatives
* Assess the feasibility and business value of any request for report creation and development
* Coordinate report requirement with the global track lead and the reports developers
* Ensure the timely production of reports by effectively managing the development process
* Responsible for testing, training, deployment and support of any new reporting tool
REQUIREMENTS:
* Knowledgeable in SQL databases and SQL programming language
* Experience with report creation & development programs and software such as Oracle Business Intelligence Tools, Noetix and Crystal Reports will be an advantage
* Experience with the OLAP / data warehouse
* Highly developed business sense
* Process oriented with good project management skills
* Ability to handle multiple tasks and reliable with respect to deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal skills. Can deal with people in all levels of the organization.
* Excellent spoken and written English
* Bachelors degree in a business or IS/IT related discipline.
* At least 5 years experience in ERP system implementation/support and at least 3 years direct involvement in report creation and development.
